Self Hosted

Self Hosted on VM (from AWS, Azure, Google, Alibaba, VMware, etc.)? – No Problem!
Many folks use a leased VM (virtual machine) to put their copy of SNIP on. They run the SNIP NTRIP Caster, leasing VM time from one of the major providers. You can expect a monthly cost of around $50/mth for such services. If your office does not have static IPs in place already, this is a very popular solution. If you are are using AWS for this, our staff can also assist you with the initial configuration and setup details.
No Static IP? – No Problem!
The SNIP NTRIP Caster does to require a static IP in order to be used. Often the cost of a static IP can be prohibitive for a small shop. SNIP works with all the popular DDNS (dynamic DNS) technologies to turn your dynamic assigned IP into a registered static one. Registered copies of SNIP can also be listed in our network domain name if requested in the form: yourMachine.use-snip.net
No Server? – No Problem!
The SNIP NTRIP Caster does not require a server operating system. In fact it works great on common Windows 7 and 10 machines. Unless you have a sustained significant load (500+ users at a time) you will not notice a difference.
Managed Hosting
Prefer to have your NTRIP Caster and the actual computer managed for you? Our Managed Hosting solutions address this need, providing your own private Caster, and saving you time and worry. Public/Private Casters
Only need to send your own Base Station Corrections to a Caster, but have no need or desire to operate the Caster itself? We operate three regional SNIP NTRIP Casters to service this need (located in North America, Western Europe, and Japan) which you can also lease time on. Other regions can be added by request wherever there is an AWS data center. (An account with the SNIP 24/7 status monitoring service is also included to alert you if your data stream or the Caster is ever off-line. The number of clients which can connect to your stream is unlimited. Inquire for volume discounts (three or more data streams). This page has more details. And with any account of this type, an unlimited number of rovers (NTRIP Clients, the end user accounts), all under your authorization, may connect to your base station as needed.
We also offer a completely free service at RTK2go.com which allows any party anywhere in the world to quickly and easily send their own Base Station data to a public Caster for use by others.

Monitoring Services
At this time a 24/7 Caster monitoring service is being developed (now in Beta testing) for SNIP. The initial goal of this service will be to deploy a redundant world-wide network of status checking machines that will periodically contact the participating SNIP NTRIP Casters to request a Caster Table and to gather operations information about the machine. On detection of any fault, the monitoring service will inform the registered owner by way of email and short messaging services (SMS). More advanced checking (such as the current error limits in the data of a given Base Station) will be developed thereafter. Weekly summaries of operations will also be sent to those owner/operators that desire them. When Beta testing completes, SNIP users (both SNIP operators and end NTRIP Client users) can subscribe to this service.
